ALEJANDRO FLORES

Born in Quito, Ecuador, Alejandro's food and wine interest began at an early stage of his life while helping at his father's Tapa's Bar at the age of 15 years old. After moving to New Jersey in 2000 he continued his wine interest while working in several restaurants and managing their wine lists.
While attending to Business School at Kean University, Alejandro's restaurant career began to take shape when assisting Terri Baldwin at the Bernards Inn. In addition to his restaurant work he worked for couple wine retailers CoolVines and Wine Country as a Wine Manager. Now he holds a position at Victory Selections as Wine Consultant covering the northern part of NJ.
Alejandro is a sales wine professional with extensive experience leading profit-generating operations through great value wines/merchandise. Working at Masters Wines, NY, Alejandro run a division in charged of managing entire customer base with more than 300 customer accounts and $2M+ in annual revenue.
As business opener, implementing new systems and policies in place, product selection, and recruiting, Alejandro run a Wine Boutique store generating over $700k in annual revenue on the first year of operations. Develop and put into practice strategic buying, strategic merchandising plans to achieve revenue objectives and reduce expenditures.
Alejandro holds the Advance Certificate from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust, a B.A. in Business Administration and currently pursuing his MBA at Montclair University.
